Examples of Work PerformedĪssists the teacher in classroom activities that provide children with a learning environment appropriate to the age and stage of development to include children with special needs.Īssists the teacher in implementing the educational program adopted for the Hidalgo County Head Start Program in conjunction with the Individual Education Plan (IEP).Īssists the teacher in supervising children at all times during indoor/outdoor activities to include children with special needs.Īssist the teacher in providing an inclusive educational environment and provide children the opportunity to actively participate in Family Style Serving during all meal times to include children with special needs.ĭocument observation notes accordingly as deemed necessary. The employee has no supervisory responsibility. Will be responsible in assisting the classroom teacher in providing an appropriate learning educational inclusive environment for the children in the classroom including children with special needs in accordance with Texas Department of Family & Protective Services Minimum Standards, the Hidalgo County Head Start Program Policies and Procedures, and the Texas Education Agency regulations.
